I don't use Recognizer all the time, but when I do, I like it. I have the various cards in my wallet identified,. I have my spice rack with its hand written labels identified. I don't use Recognizer as a bar code app. For that I use Digit Eyes. But for stuff without bar codes that I use around the house, Recognizer is y go to app. It's quick and easy. I have not tried to export or import anything, and I don't do much with the data management options. I haven't needed to.

As stated above. It really depends in what you are looking for in an app. I agree the Digit-Eyes is the best when it comes to identifying objects with a barcode. It will provide a lot more information than what you will get with the Recognizer. However, Recognizer doesn't need the ability to have to hunt for that barcode or at times you want to identify something that doesn't have a barcode. Currency, Bark Cards, Driver License, and many other things. Do you know what you want to identify in particular and what you would want to use frequently? That would help us know which we can recommend to you.

Hi all, I have been using Looktel Recognizer especially to recognize currencies that are not included in NantMobile Money Reader. It is sad, though, that Looktel Recognizer is not supported by iOS 11. Looktel Recognizer was last updated in 2013. I have sent email to the developer's contact address several times to get the application updated but they have not responded to any of them.
It seems that the developper has abandoned the application.
Could any of you suggest what to do to get the developer's attention please? You know that we get the application not for free.

I use NantMobile and I think the app calls itself Money Reader. It works perfectly and is fast at recognizing the bill you're trying to identify.

It is unfortunate for Indonesians that our Rupiah currency is not include in the Money Reader app. I have written several times to the developer's contact but have not received any response so far.

If you have, as stated, tried contacting the app's developer and gotten no replies to your messages, give the app a very low rating in the app store, and state the reasoning. If they see the low rating, they might take notice and doo something about it.
