Looking for concrete object teaching and recognition app for iOS

Hello,

already for several years I have been looking for an object recognition app which would let me teach the app by taking one or few photos of a specific object in the first step, then in the second step assign a textual or own recorded audio description to the object, and later allowed real time and easy recognition of that object just by aiming the camera at it, which would result in the app telling you the assigned description. Back in the time, there was an app called LookTel Recognizer, but the development of this app has been discontinued already for couple years ago. This app stood out greatly with the unique features I have just described. Both the object teaching and recognition was very reliable and not difficult to perform without vision. Some of the areas where I had found the app useful was the recognition of packaged goods like cans, tea packages, instant meals and yogurts, personal items like document foldrs or clothes, or credit, customer and ID cards, with the possibility to attach longer information for the object, like instant meal preparation instructions or credit card expiration date.

I have also came up with an idea to further improve the app by introducing something like a in-app cloud database of already taught objects organized into categories, where users could share their taught objects with other users. This way one could share a specific yogurt, can, or banknotes for exotic currencies, for instance, with others, so they would not need to teach the app the same object again if other users already have done so.

So my question is, would you appreciate the development of such an app? Or perhaps, do you know of any iOS app with such features?

Actually, I have been in touch with the developer of the popular app for recognition of banknotes called Cash Reader, and he expressed the openness to the possibility for developing an app which I've just described. But for that, we would like to first make sure there is not already a similar app, and if not, if there would be a sufficient interest for such an app in the community.
