Logic, pro for iPad question

Hello, I wondered if anyone has a walk-through for Logic pro for iPad. I’ve been getting grips with it, but one thing I can’t do is replace an instrument on the track, for example, if I have a piano on a track and I want to replace it with a violin. I can create a new track using the new instrument to be replaced using VoiceOver. How would I just replacing existing track? I know it’s possible i’ve seen sighted people do it

What a coincidence that this post is so fresh. I was just going to create one to the exact same effect: Using the action rotor I can create a new track based on a patch, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to just replace the current patch on a preexisting track. I even made sure the track is indeed selected, and that the library is in replacement mode. When double-tapping a patch, a sample of it is played, but the patch is not applied. The sighted user experience is that tapping the patch without VoiceOver will replace the patch on the selected track, which is the behavior I want.
If such a basic step is broken, I'm not sure if additional investment of time is worth it. If, on the other hand, I am just missing a basic concept, then learning how it is done might help me figure out the rest of this app.
Any helpful input is much appreciated.
All the best,
