Hey,
Since updating to ios 15 which I regret. I am getting a much more pronounced click when I get a notification on a locked screen which is annoying the hell out of me. To the point where at night I need to either turn voice over off or put the phone on do not disturb. I never had this issue until I did the 15 update. Does anyone know what I can do? Again, a loud click as the screen unlocks then it says " one new notification" and the screen locks again.
I hate this update.

I hate this update!
My reasons are different from yours to hate it. They broke the accessibility of the application I was getting so involved with i.e. Shortcuts.
If you want to stop the notification for messages on the locked screen:
1. Go to settings/ Notifications
2. Scroll to Messages
3. Unselect the show on locked screen option
I am sure this is not the solution you are looking for; if you just want to silent all notification during a particular time of day. The DND option is my best bet. However, please ensure you keep the allow calls from setting in check i.e. Favorites OR others that you can add from your contacts. This way you will only get calls or messages from those you have allowed; the rest are all silenced
Talking about too loud; check media volume. You can do this by sliding the control panel where you get settings like Airplane mode etc. scroll down you will see a volume slider. Also check if playing with the VoiceOver volume helps; you should have set it in the rotar; if not Settings/ accessibility/ Vision/ VoiceOver
If the click is annoying you…
If the click is annoying you, you can go to settings, accessibility, Voiceover, audio, sounds and haptics, and choose from the sound you want to turn off.
Where is the notifications on lock screen?
This is a bit different. I have the notifications coming in on the lock screen but not speaking. I can't find the setting to speak on lock screen. I've tried everything. this is now making me batcrap crazy. Thx
