Lock Screen notifications bug

Hi!

I'm currently experiencing something I think is a bug, but am not sure. Before upgrading to iOS 10, I would set my phone down when I went to bed, and, when I woke up, would have maybe 30 notifications to scroll through from the previous night. Now, on iOS 10 and 10.0.2, I only have 13 notifications on my lock screen in the morning, even though I know there should be more. Yes, I know I can go to the notification center to view them, but for various reasons I won't get in to at the moment, I don't like doing that. Is this a bug, or some weird intended feature? Is anyone else experiencing this? Whether intentional or not on Apple's part, does anyone know of a workaround?

thank you in advance for any help!

I have had the exact same happen a number of times. Also, on a phone call, notifications are no longer displayed. All I get is the call duration.

Hi, I have notifications turned off so that voiceover will not announce the notifications on the lock screen. I have both "show in notification center," and "show on lock screen," options turned off, but just the sounds playing. The only time that voiceover announces notifications is when the screen is unlocked. Again, that's my prefered preference. Everyones got similer differences to how they prefer to set their notifications.
