link BBc iPlayer question

Hello,
I noticed radio five sport extra is not one of the stations listed on the iPlater app, but it is available on the website. does anyone know if this was an intentional omission on BBc's part, or is it something they are working on?

Hi Usman. I've just had a look and radio 5 sports extra is available on the iplayer radio app. There are two BBC iplayer apps, the one simply called iplayer is for tv programmes only and the BBC iplayer radio app is exclusively for radio. The other thing about radio 5 sports extra mind is it doesn't broadcast 24/7 but only as and when needed so I guess it's possible it doesn't come up when there isn't an event on. It sounded like cricket when I checked just there. HTH.

Thank you for your response. This is a shame as It would be nice to be able to access schedules and what not with 5 extra. There is a formula one event coming up and I will try it then to see if it appears.
