Hi,
I just purchased Whiteout, the latest game in the lifeline series. Unlike the previous titles, this one is completely inaccessible to voiceover. In my first time posting to this, I gave the wrong company to contact, not realizing they changed partners. If you want to let them know about this, email support@eipix.com

Patrick I wish I read your post before buying it. I also bought the app yesterday and can't play it at all. This sucks since I loved the lifeline games.

Here is the answer I got from Eipix.

Hello, John!
Thank you for taking the time to write to us and draw our attention to this issue.
As you may know, we have developed this game in collaboration with Big Fish Games. In terms of the game specs and its overall functions, we have followed
their instructions to the smallest detail. The voiceover option was never mentioned in our communication with Big Fish Games, and honestly, we didn't know
it was enabled for the previous installments of the series. Even if we were aware of it, we would still have to receive the instructions from Big Fish
Games, which we never did.
We have contacted Big Fish Games regarding this issue and we're awaiting further instructions. The decision to enable voiceover is theirs to make, so we
suggest you approach them with your complaint. We hope we can come to a satisfactory solution fairly soon, and we will update you if there are any new
developments regarding this issue.
All the best from Eipix!

They must not have known about voiceover; maybee the other lifeline games turned out to be accessible just by accident?

none of big fishes games have been accessible, and they have shown no accessability interest. I really hope they decide to change on this, and am not saying they shouldn't try, but don't hold out too much hope. A shame as this series was fun.

The Lifeline games were, and still are, Bigfish games. I'm working with the guy Carlos who runs their Twitter. I've sent an audio file comparing the games to socialmedia@bigfishgames.com along with a screenshot. If anyone has a way to record a video of it in action, this may help too so that they see what the issue is. I thought about sending them the guide here for accessibility, and I may still do that.

No update yet from him via Twitter dm or email yet. Hoping he didn't just hand it off after talking to me about it. We shall see though.

OK guys after getting the reply from Eipix I wrote bigfish games as well, this is the reply I got.

This is Kayla, writing from Seattle. It sounds like the previous games in the Lifeline series supported VoiceOver, but the newest game Lifeline: Whiteout
doesn't have this support built in. I definitely understand wanting your favorite games to be accessible, and I'll totally do my best to help you out with
this right away.

I've passed this message up to my manager, who has passed it on to the appropriate team that will look into the matter. Since Customer Support doesn't
receive specific information about game updates, I'm unable to provide an estimation on when an update could be expected. If an update is released for
this game, you should be notified on your device that the update is available for download from the iTunes App Store.

I hope we're able to get this resolved for you quickly! If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to reply directly to this email
and I'll be happy to assist you further.

Best wishes,

Well in 2014 I wrote to Tinman games who promissed accessibility in 2015 which never happened. So I am not sure if this will have results or not.

So far COG and HG are the only one who offer full accessibility.

cheers!

Hi!
I haven't tested tis very well, but regarding the app inaccessible, now is possible to play Whiteout in the Lifeline Library, and in there apears that is accessible. In other hand, I just opened the game because I am testing it with a short period of time.
