Language support for voiceover recognition

Hello, I sent a feedback to apple accessibility because I want Turkish language support for voiceover recognition feature.
I'm writing here as I think maybe Apple will take it into consideration if more people want it.
If you are interested, you can send an e-mail similar to the one below to accessibility@apple.com.
Example email:With iOS 14, Apple brought a feature called voiceover recognition to voiceover, but unfortunately, Turkish language is still not supported. It would be perfect if Turkish language support is provided for this feature.
But there is a bigger problem here. When using Voiceover in Turkish, although the image descriptions option is active, the image descriptions are not spoken by voiceover because voiceover language is Turkish. When I set the voiceover language to English using the rotor, I can hear the image descriptions, but it is quite cumbersome to do this for each image description.
Until Turkish language support is introduced, voiceover should be updated to read explanations in English, even in the Turkish version. So everyone can take advantage of this feature.
Also, the text recognition feature works very well, but unfortunately there is no support for Turkish characters.
Yes, it is possible to understand photos with very useful tools like seeing ai, but this built-in feature of voiceover is both faster and more functional.
I hope you will consider this feedback, have a great day.

Hello @Louie,
I did this bEFORE but unfortunately the problem is not solved. Meaninglessly, there are many languages including Turkish in the additional languages section, but when I downloaded Turkish, the problem was not resolved.
Actually, it is not that important to translate the voiceover image descriptions into Turkish, but it is a big problem that the descriptions are not spoken when Voiceover is in Turkish.

I use my iphone in Turkish native language and suffer from the same problem, so I forwarded the situation to apple at the beginning of the beta process of ios16.

Hello all,

I can confirm the same behavior with other languages (Dutch in my case).
Steps to reproduce are as follows.

1. Switch phone to English
2. Enable screen recognition (this is different from image descriptions)
3. Enable screen recognition from the rotor. I should work.
4. Switch the phone language to another language such as Turkish or Dutch
5. Enable Screen recognition again.
6. Enable it in the rotor, and find that none of it works. The only thing VoiceOver speaks is button, button, but no labels of any controls, not in English nor in my native language.
Downloading additional languages in the rotor does not make a difference.
i have submitted this as a feedback to Apple multiple times, but never got any reply.

I don't understand why Apple hasn't fixed this issue. Even if it doesn't bring new language supports, it can serve in that language as long as the secondary language in iPhone settings is supported, it's english in my case. Let's keep reporting this issue, maybe we'll achieve our goal in the next version
