I am almost entirely happy with how Zoom works with screen readers, but I have one complaint.
In the distant past Zoom Cloud meetings had a keyboard hot-key for raising one's hand according to some online documentation I found. For some strange reason that hot-key no longer exists and I desperately want it back. I know this only works for people who use Zoom on an iPad with an external keyboard, but can I really be the only person who cares? The hot-keys for mute/unmute and video on-off still exist, so it isn't that. external keyboards are unsupported on iPad OS. Please, if you can, write to Zoom in the app feedback and ask them to bring back the raise hand hot-key. It is annoying to have to search around the screen with a finger to find it. It's not like it's conveniently in a corner of the screen easy to find, because they've added too many other reaction possibilities in the participant panel.. Searching for "my hand" via VoiceOver find command only works efficiently if in the participant list and every time someone screen shares focus is taken hostage by that. Besides, sometimes VoiceOver is just weird when using external keyboard commands and it just ignores the fact that I pressed control-option-F.

Who to contact at Zoom?
Do you have a contact person at Zoom that we should send this to? I recently found the iOS keyboard shortcuts, but was disappointed the hand raising option did not have a keyboard equivalent on iOS.
Contact Zoom
I don't know any better way to contact zoom than to go to Zoom settings, about, send feedback. It will bring up a form to fill out.
On the Mac at least it is…
On the Mac at least it is still Option Y. Window's I think it's Alt Y. Don't Know about iOS, but the hand-raising feature is under more options so probably not.
