Is it possible to hide the iOS on-screen keyboard?

Is there a gesture to hide the on-screen keyboard? If so, what is it? I would like to hide the keyboard for an app that does not seem to effectively manage the keyboard while VoiceOver is in use. Thanks.
I've not yet found out how to do this on the iPhone screen, but if you have a braille display, it's Space-SHContraction (dots 1-4-6).
It may depend on the type of bluetooth keyboard, but to hide on-screen keyboard with a bluetooth kb, it's F3.
As I said, may vary depending on the BT keyboard model.

You can with iPad
But I don't think you can with iPhone. On iPad you tap the keyboard key that is in the bottom right corner of the keyboard.
try settings
there is a setting for show onscreen keyboard.
Not found how
