I remember when listening to a podcast, or really any kind of audio file i used to be able to swipe the track forward and backward from the lock screen, and it would be 10% of the overall length each time which was quite handy for much longer tracks or audio files.
But now, it seems that you can no longer do this and can only skip forward or back 15 seconds at a time, to see what I mean listen to the latest AppleVis podcast in Safari, lock the screen and then press the home button or open the device and try to swipe up and down on the track bar, it won’t work.
I just wondered though, is this a bug or is it a feature, can sighted people still manipulate the track while the screen is locked?

It works here
I am running iOS 15.5 and I use Overcast as my podcast app of choice.
I can manipulate the track position by swiping up/down from the lock screen.
So, no issues here.
This also works as expected when listening to music on Spotify and actually in all other audio apps I use.
