Hi,
Can anyone help with a couple of issues I’m having after updating to IOS16.1.
First, before updating to IOS 16, in Safari, after reading a story I’d normally click the back button located lower left on my iPhone screen. However since updating the buttons at the bottom disappear unless I scroll back to the top of the page.
Second, When walking outdoors I have apps such as Lazarillo/Blind Square/Soundscape running which update me as to where I am through my audio sunglasses. I’d lock my screen after opening my app of choice and Off I’d go. Now, the only way I can get updates on where I am is to leave my iPhone screen open which I definitely don’t like doing for security reasons.
Can anyone offer a fix?
Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
Kind regards
Graham Roby

Alas the issue with Safari is just normal now. I keep hoping someone out there might create a script or activity to keep the address bar and buttons on the screen while reading but no luck so far.
As for having to leave your phone unlocked, it's not ideal but you can use the screen curtain. Most sighted people will just think your phone is locked that way.
Double tap the address bar
This would be easier than going back all the way to the top of the page. This also is not ideal, of course, and the tabs should remain expanded unless collapsed.

you can also double tap the mobile label or the clock at the top of the screen. It will bring you back to the top of the page but will also bring the address bar and bottom buttons back.
