Issues with iOS 14.1 on iPhone SE 2

Hi, I have recently migrated to iPhone SE2 from iPhone 5S and facing the following issues. The edit fields in Facebook and some of the banking apps don't work - the double tap gesture does not highlight the text fields nor bring up the keypad option. This issue does not occur when Voiceover is switched off. I have even tried deleting Facebook and reinstalling the app but the issue persists. Similarly, the App store layout looks completely different - the search tab does not provide the search option, the updates tab which was available in previous versions do not show up and there is no category option available in the Apps tab. I have even tried switching Voiceover voices to see if it works but no luck. Would appreciate any help to resolve the above stated issues. Thanks

Hi, Some of the issues in Facebook you mentioned seem to be related to iOS14 problems, I've experienced them too on my iPhone 11. As for the search field in the app store, it is ambiguously labeled. When you hear Games, Apps, Stories and More, it will then say search field, double-tap to edit. It's easy to swipe right past it as the word search isn't stated first.

The issue of no update tab isn't actually an issue. It's now part of your account screen accessed by one finger double tap on "my account".

If you double-tap and hold slightly in the middle, the keyboard will pop up. I'm referring to the Search Edit Box in the app store. Not sure why that is, but it works every time.
