Issue with iPhone

I have a strange issue.
Sometimes when I got a puncher lock screen on my iPhone SE 2022 says locked status bar item,
This is not because I have a VPN active, so I don’t know what’s going on. Does anybody know what could be happening?
When I go to the top of the lock screen onto the status bar it’s as locked status bar item
Does anybody know what could be this issue?
My phone is unlocked, and I’m running 16.4.1

I think is the new lock screen that it came out with iOS 16.

When your in the lock screen and if your phone is unlock or locked, voiceover will read it out. I'm guessing its a feature to know if the phone is unlocked or not. I'm assuming its the same for the sighted, as voiceover reads the icon so its not just a voiceover thing, but I don't think this is a bug or issue, its been round for various ios versions I think.

what you are describing is perfectly normal. Phones that have a home button show a locked icon in the status bar which Voiceover will read out if you touch it.
