Hello,
It's me, Muhammad.
I have a dictionary issue with apple eloquence on ios. The word YouTube is pronounced as You Tube, which is very annoying. I tried to add a dictionary entry and use yootoob as replacement, but apple eloquence is still keeping the same pronunciation. Also, in the correct pronunciation dialogue, I have to swipe through multiple voices to get to read eloquence, for instance. What's the quickest way to add words to the eloquence voiceover dictionary for ios?
Second, a while back I posted a topic where I said the volume of eloquence on the speaker was incredibly quiet, which made it hard for me to hear, but headphones are fine. Has apple fixed that on ios 27?
Best regards,
Muhammad.

I’ve definitely seen both issues with eloquence for sure
There are a lot of issues that came with eloquence when it was ported dial. You’re definitely not the only one seeing these issues for sure. Sorry I don’t really know how to fix the pronunciation dictionary eloquence. It doesn’t seem to keep any of the settings anymore. I’ve tried to use eloquence on iOS 26 and even when you go to try to change any of the customizations with the voices themselves, those settings will not stay there once you leave the Settings menu or even switching to another Voice in another synthesizer. As soon as you go back to whatever voice she selected and eloquence settings go back to default. There’s definitely something up with that for sure. I’m sorry that I haven’t been testing. I was 27 so cannot comment as to whether eloquence volume is fixed on speakers of an iPhone. But you’re definitely right. The eloquence is softer than all of the other voices on speaker. I really don’t understand that at all. But there’s definitely been a lot of issues since eloquence has been reported iOS back in Iowa 16. I really hope it gets fixed for you guys like to use eloquence. I kind of gave up on using it because of all of the issues that came with. There’s a weird issue now to where eloquence has been saying the time incorrectly for the first nine minutes of the hour. That’s a bug that’s been around since iOS 16, which is the first iOS the game. Wish I could give you a more helpful answer than this. Hopefully somebody can come on here to give you info about how to fix the pronunciation dictionaries.
