Hello: some how my roter is adjusting the speach rate as well as other things in steps of 10 instead of steps of ones. Can anyone tell me how to change it back. For example when i go to change my speach rate it goes from 10 to 20 instead of 1 2 3 4 ect.

My roter has always gone in increments of ten. I don't know if there is a way to change what increments the roter uses.

I just posted something very similar. Interestingly, though, in iOS9, my rotor changes speech rate in steps of 5 whilst Settings/General?Accessibility?VoiceOver changes speaking rate in steps of 10. I'm working on an iPhone 6. Like you, I'm unable to find any way of fine tuning with VoiceOver switched on.

It seems you should have a way to adjust it. My phone and iPad go in steps of one, but when I was working with a client on a iPhone 6s the roter goes in steps of 10 if I change the voice over speaking rate from accessibility. If I change it from the roter on the fly after I have added speach rate it goes in fives.

That's right. Want to make finer adjustments to how quickly your voice talks? Try the tap and hold trick on the speech rate slider in Voiceover settings. I don't know about the rooter though. Sorry folks.
