I just updated my iPod touch to 9.21 and now my Voiceover sounds like it's under water. Any tips on how to resolve this?

Which voice are you using? Is it the default voice "Samantha?" Or are you using the enhanced quality voice?

I had that problem in the beginning of iOS9, but it is much better now. I can tell you that when I did have issues, I just used the default Samantha voice. It was not as distorted as the enhanced voice. I really don't know of a solution to this. I had tried uninstalling the enhanced voice and then reinstalling. It did not help. The only thing I could suggest, is to contact Apple Accessibility.

When did the enhanced voice become so harsh? I to had to switch to the default Samantha. I really do preferthe older iOS 7 version. Default Samantha is still my favorite as I prefer female voices in general. I tried some of the purchaced voices in other apps but found they really are not muchof an improvement over Samantha. I wonder why the enhanced Samantha sounds sick now.

Is the default voice what gets chosen for US English? How does one choose enhanced or default? I hate the new voice for ios9. Miss the old voice...
