iOS 16, anyone having the haywire issue when using stereo?

Hello,
So ever since I updated to iOS 16, I have been getting this extremely annoying issue.
The issue usually happens when using stereo mode, that being the bottom mic is the left channel and the back mic is the right channel. Whenever this is activated for me, VoiceOver, and the phone in general, are rendered entirely useless. You have to hope that it eventually works itself out, or desperately try to figure out how to make your phone responsive again.
I've tried several debugging issues; Restarting, powering on/off, closing all apps, Airplane Mode, Low Power mode, nothing seems to solve it.
Has anyone experienced this issue? If so, is there a workaround?
This usually happens when opening apps that use stereo recording by default, such as Ferrite or Recorder HQ when you choose for it to record in stereo.
