Listening to the podcast by Thomas regarding Becca tap on the new iOS 14, Thomas has his triple tap set to hang up phone calls. Looking through the list on My wife’s iPhone 10 S Hang up the phone call doesn’t appear in the list. Thomas is in the US, we are in the UK. Is it possible that we have different lists for some reason? Interesting to find out what other people have found.

I'm in the US, and don't have ending a call as an option for backtap. Maybe my phone is too old? I've got the 8 plus, and it's in an otterbox defender case, so maybe backtap isn't even a workable feature for me. I tried it, but nothing ever happened unless I was setting my phone down on a table or something. Then, the backtap would register. If ending a call is an option only with newer phones, it's just one more reason for me to at least consider upgrading to the iPhone 12 when it becomes available and finances permit.
Remove it
I Set it up but does not work well. It also affects battery. I deleted it for now.

The option you want from the list is called Magic tap. This only appears to work if you are using speaker phone or an earpiece. If you are holding the phone up to your ear it does not hang up the call. This is kind of a neat feature, but if your on an earpiece or speaker phone a 2 finger double tap can be accomplished on the screen to end a call which accomplishes the same task. I wish they would bring back the feature where the lock button would hang up a call.
Nothing to do with iPhone version.
I can assure you that your iPhone version has nothing to do with it, as I have an iPhone 11pro max and I haven't been able to find those options either.

As mentioned above and they are correct. I am using the Magic Tap option for the triple tap to end my calls. I should have been clearer in the podcast so my apology.
On the topic of back tap I am curious what others are using their Back Tap for?

How to select the magic tap option
Hi All,
You can assign the magic tap to back tap by going to the command option in the accessibility - voiceover - commands - touch.
You will not get the magic tap option if you go to accessibility - touch - back tap option.
Hence the confusion.

Hanging the call with the side button option is still available.
However, you would have to switch off the "Auto select speaker in call" option".
You can do this by going to accessibility - voiceover - audio.
