Interest in Accessible GIF/Sticker app?

Hello friends,

I'm a legally blind developer and app user. As I was reading a post on this forum regarding emoji, I realized that I've been very frustrated with the state of GIFs and stickers on iOS. Many of thee new sticker apps don't have good VoiceOver labeling and/or just don't work well with VO. Even Apple's own built-in GIF search added in iOS 10 doesn't do anything in the way of accessibility for describing the content.

Would anyone here find an accessible GIF/Sticker app useful? If so, what sorts of features would you like to see? I feel like minimally, an app with a good set of GIF content where each item has a very good VO description would go a long way, but would love to hear other thoughts.

Thanks,
Nick

I've had issues there too! What I'd want is the ability to hear what the gif or sticker was like the emojis. I'd like to be able to use it with Facebook too as I have an account with them.

Thanks for that quick reply! My thinking is for each GIF in particular, it would include the emotion (e.g. mad, happy, unimpressed, etc.) and the description of the content (e.g. A scene where some character in a movie shakes their head).

I think making these available via Facebook would be possible but would probably need a custom keyboard, where as stickers/GIFs for iMessage can be iMessage apps now.

Great feedback though!

So many people put up photos, I want just say I'm pissed, just to show I see it. ;) Seriously, this is a great idea however it's implamented.
