On Instagram does anyone know how to keep the camera settings and the direct messages screen from popping up all the time when navigating?

Hi Troy. I had the same thing happen to me when I used Instagram. That's one of the many reasons I got rid of the app. I'd've liked to kill my account, but due to technology failures, it didn't happen. Unfortunately, I can't tell you exactly how to do this.
Just as the subject says, if you use this gesture, it will put you in the DM camera settings, or maybe it was my story, every time. I have however found that if I use the tabs at the bottom instead of the back button when exiting a picture, the DM thing doesn't happen. Not a great solution, and I wish instagram would be more user friendly, but it works.
