iCloud Drive & iOS 8

iOS and iPadOS

Hi all, I am trying to set up iCloud Drive so that I can easily sync documents from my Windows 7 computer and my iPad. I understand iCloud Drive is something relatively new, and it might not be fully functional yet? Here's what I've done so far: I've set up iCloud Drive on my computer, and can locate the folder and place things in it with no problem. In iOS 8, I have visited Settings > iCloud and made sure that iCloud Drive is turned on, and that Pages has permission to access it. I have also visited Settings > Pages and made sure that "Use iCloud" is turned on. I have also enabled automatic downloads under Settings > iCloud. So far, I have not been able to use Pages to upload a document to iCloud Drive. Neither have I been able to open / view anything in Pages that I placed in my computer's "ICloud Drive" folder under Libraries. Has anyone else run into this? I have a feeling I'm missing a step but am not sure. Thanks in advance for any ideas. :)

I'm also learning but I think you have to open the icloud documents by hitting new, then from icloud and you will see your docs there. Be mindful though that RTF is not supported.
