iBooks problem

Hey guys, just got iBooks and whenever I try to download the free Winnie the Pooh book the progress bar will move all the way across as if it's finished but it won't actually finish at all.

I went to Store -> Purchased -> Redownload but it still didn't work at all.

Haven't tried any other books because I don't want to waste any money yet.

Anyone else having this issue or have any tips? Thanks

Hy, try to hart reset your device, hold down the power button and home button for 15 sek.

I have noticed on occasion that iBooks may sometimes report a book as 100% downloaded for a long time. The first thing I would try is closing the iBooks app, by which I mean remove it from the app switcher. After that I would try restarting your device the Apple recommended way, power off your device then turn it on again.

All of this assumes that your network connection is good and that when you said you re-downloaded the book you mean that you deleted it from your library then used the download button on the purchases page.

I have to say that even if iBooks seems unreasonably slow sometimes, I have never had a book not finish downloading. As for trying another book, there are plenty of free books in the iBooks store, the official iPad/iPhone manuals for example.
