iA Writer in 2021

Hi, everyone. Was wondering what people think about the writing and editing experience in 2021 using iA Writer?
I read some forum posts discussing iA Writer from 2015 and 2018. Since iA Writer is a paid app, I would need this app to be my go-to-app to write short and long text since I already pay for an Office 365 subscription. I've made the above apps work for me when I don't feel like turning on my computer, but I would like something more robust that would allow for a more of a productive writing experience beyond jotting down ideas and making minor edits and basic formatting changes.

My questions are, does the app add to your productivity if you don't feel like using your computer? How? Or do you need to find a way to make it work? If so, is it worth the effort?

Yes, I know that I will need to learn mark down syntax. I'll learn it if iA Writer offers an excellent distraction-free, writing experience on my iPad.
