Hello. The subject line says it all. I have older face book voice messages that I would like to play using my I phone 6, but the messages were sent and received using an older IOS and an I phone 5. Is there a way that I can hear these messages again using my I phone or is there a compatibility issue between my current OS and phone and the previous OS and phone that I used for this message exchange?

Can you restore the messages using iCloud, possibly?
I'm not sure if the messages already are or aren't yet on your device.
If they are and you are trying to play them, it's possible they're incompatible, though I can't see why this is.
Still trying to play old Facebook voice messages
I backed up everything using i cloud when I got my iPhone 6, but I did not use encrypted backup. I can play the messages from my computer however. Apparently, the messages are on my device since the play icon is visible to a sighted person. I'm not able to play voice messages from other people that I exchanged using my i phone 5.
