I am extremely frustrated with VoiceOver and braille display cursor

I'm using an iPhone 16 Pro Max with VoiceOver and a BI20X braille display from Humanware. Whenever I am reading with my braille display, the braille cursor jumps all over the place. I read devotions to several Whatsapp groups and this gets very very very annoying when I am reading out loud. I have touch curtain turned on, my phone on Do Not Disturb, and Airplane Mode on. I even have some of my notifications turned off and the braille cursor still jumps. The VoiceOver cursor when speaking doesn't jump. Is there a way this can be fixed or a work-around? I've tried explaining this to Apple Accessibility and they don't get it! I need some help, please? I have no other devices other than this phone. I am also running the latest IOS software.

I'm just glad it's not just me. Maybe iOS 27.4 will fix it.

VO cursor jumping all over the place in most apps, or always bringing you to the top-left of a screen. There's no command to put your cursor at the beginning of relevant content of a window either. EG: When I tap an option in Settings or another app, I can just tap again in the center of the screen to hear current info without flicking a trilion times through all the prerequisite Back, conversation heading, 2 people, button, end to end encrypted, etc etc etc. There's no way to quickly jump to the content. Containers can kinda help, but only if the app is coded properly. Even then, tapping in a screen location has always been faster than strictly using a BT keyboard or braille display. For this reason I can't simply have my phone stowed in a bag and run the show 100% with the display.

Typical Apple.

So just keep the phone out and tap the center of the screen to get to the content, then use typical VO commands with your display to navigate and type, etc.

For the cursor jumping all over when reading, I really have no good solution. It's mainly because VO cursor is not a "real" cursor. Either way that's a very frustrating thing and I've not had more luck besides the things I described above.
