Hello,
I am trying to learn how to use the new feature introduced by IOS14 called Screen regonition, and Immages recognition, contained in "recognition" under Accessibility VoiceOver. So, I enterd there, I download the necessary thing for screen recognition and for images recognition, I activate both of them in the rotor, and so, when I am in an app in which I would like to do the screen recognition, I go to the rotor into "Screen regonition" and I activate it, however it happens nothing, and the same thing with images, I think that I am doing something wrong, but I don't know how. please, could you explain me how to use those features step by step=, by change, is there any podcast regarding this matter?. Many thanks in advance.

I use screen recognition all the time. I'm less familiar with image recognition, but I imagine it works the same way. Screen recognition is really great for areas voiceover doesn't read. Picture files with text, areas of the screen Voiceover doesn't natively interact with, videos (one of my favorites) and even pictures or objects viewed in the cambera or IOS magnifier (my other favorite) What I do is cycle to screen recognition in the roter, flick up to ensure it's turned on, then explore the screen by touch until whatever I wish to view is read out. I just tried and you can also flick left and right like you would to go to previous or next items. But you do want to ensure Screen recognitionis off when you don't need it or it can make interacting with regular elements voiceover does natively recognize a lot harder. I believe with image description it works the same way. Any images under voiceover's focus will be described (at least as far as AI can describe pictures).
