How to preserve exact place in Voice Dream Reader?

Hello,

I am reading a book in another language and I want to look a word up in the dictionary of my mother tongue, which is not implemented in Voice Dream Reader, than add it in another app. When switching between apps or even tapping in another part of the app, I lose my exact focus and I have to re-read a sentence or two before finding it. Sometimes, I accidentally tap on the text and go further with the finger-reading option, which seems to continue to work even if I disabled it.

I wonder if there is any way of keeping the cursor at the exact word or sentence I stopped.
Thank you.

In the top panel, there is an option to add bookmark. You can use that and delete those bookmarks later.

I knew about the bookmarks, but I didn't think it a good idea to use them, as I have so many unfamiliar words to look up, so I have to put a bookmark, then delete it, then put a note It's time-consuming. But now I realize they will be very useful. Thank you very much!

About all I can suggest here is first, get good at avoiding touching the document when you come back - try to go straight to the controls where you can press play etc, also, switch your navigation mode to sentence. That way you can go backwards and forwards by tiny amounts.

The other thought is, wear a headset and learn the controls for play/pause and forward and back. That way, you could do the whole thing without touching the screen, and possibly even without switching apps at all.

Don't know if this is helpful, but just some ideas.
