how does the maybe feature work?

I'm sorta creeped out. I was on omegle, a chat site where college students can get on and chat to random other college students. I was browsing this on internet explorer on my windows PC. We traded numbers, and when she texted me, it said "maybe: and then her name". How'd it know?
