How Do You Explore Apps

Hi,
What is your strategy for exploring new apps, or for using old, familiar ones? How much do you swipe? How much do you use your finger to explore?

If you don't like flicking all the time you can explore by touch, Aka EBT.

I always flick when I am exploring apps. I don't explore by touch very often.

Yeah Harley, me too, flicking for me is better, but some people like using explore by touch and like saying, in the top right corner is settings, in the left corn is back, etc.

I use an iPhone 6, and flick left and right a lot in apps and even folders. It's very easy to miss a bunch of stuff otherwise. Though, to get an idea of how an app is structured, I explore by touch.

In iBooks, I think it is, I use a very slow explore by touch down the screen to read each line.
In Safari, I set my rotor to headings and flick to read posts and things most of the time, but use vertical navigation on tables a lot of times. On some forums, I have to use images on the rotor to get to the next post because there are no headings for each post. Those are, of course, up and down flicks or swipes.

Finally, I have to use the three finger page or screen scroll up and down flick to get passed large images in Safari and some other apps because Voiceover doesn't seem to flick and scroll to the next heading or element if it's on the next page or screen in some cases.

I start by exploring by touch for all apps. In fact I find I can if I know the app well navigate better that way and a lot faster then flicking.
