Hi,
I'm extremely frustrated with the kindle app. I enjoy being able to read books with continuous reading on kindle for iOS, but for the life of me, when there's a book with a link at the end, and heaven forbid, you don't stop VoiceOver from reading before it encounters that link, I'm caught in an endless loop between kindle and safari. Double tap doesn't work to close the book, three finger swipe down doesn't work to go down a page. Even closing the app doesn't work, because when I relaunch, it opens back in the book. Any help how I can get out of books with links, short of uninstalling and reinstalling kindle? At this point, I'll try anything, lol.

the rotor is your friend
The thing you need to do is be off of the link when you attempt to close the book. Turn your rotor to words or lines and flick up or down to get past the link and back onto text. Incidentally, you can also turn the rotor to links to actually get directly onto a link where you can double tap it to go there. Because of this, you can actually play some interactive game books like the Destiny Quest series by Michael Ward. The rotor can also be used to select text such as a word you want to look up the definition of. Happy reading.
