To get your Gmail contacts off of your iPhone, just go to settings, apps, mail, mail accounts, google, and then uncheck the contacts checkbox. Tap back in the upper left corner to get back to the main settings page, and then close the Settings app altogether. You may or may not have to reboot your phone as well, but either way, the Gmail contact should no longer appear on your device.
I wonder if your iCloud contacts picked up some of Google's contacts.
Try opening your Contacts application, and check the button in the top left corner. If it says lists, back button, tap on that. If it says edit, then swipe to the right go through your list of contacts. See if you have one for Google, or possibly labeled "other".
It may be as simple as only displaying your iCloud contacts, or you can tap the edit button, and from here.
