So, when my IPhone came out of box, it was reading contents of each notification, whatsapp messages and such, they would be simply announced as they came in. This was very cool at home. But I realized I don't want it doing that in public, so I went somewhere in settings and fiddled with notification settings, managed to make it not announce.
Now, I want it back, may be set some automation to togle that settings based on if I am in home or not. But for god's sake, I can't find that setting again. Can someone guide?
Also, when I am out and about, and it's not announcing notification, it would still wake up screen for each incoming notification, any idea if that can be turned off as well?
Highly apreciate any help.

I just had a look
hi yeah I just had a look there. So you basicly go into VO verbosity settings, and there you will find a section where it says system notifications. Click into it and you will find options that says speak, speak cound, braille, or do nothing. Hope that helps.
Wouldn't the person have to have their Braille display connected
Hello,
For the Braille part, wouldn't the person have to have their bluetooth-connected display on and of course, connected to the phone? Better make sure that display has a good protective case on it and a strap to go around the neck when walking, then huh?
