How accessible is the Oura Ring App or similar alternatives?

Hi, has anyone tried out the latest Oura app? I have seen some old comments from 2019, but nothing since. I am also interested if others have tried any other ring or wearable and companion app. It feels like it's at the same price point with the apple watch, which I know is accessible and does more, but the ring format has other benefits.

Well, I took the plunge. It does not seem like anyone else has tried it or wrote anything that I could find.
Step 1 - Before you buy you should get the ring sizing kit. The price is normally credited back to the ring purchase price, so you do get it back. It's basically a tray of plastic (white coloured) rings of different sizes. You can wear it for a while on different fingers to see how it feels and which size to use as it has to be snug but also removable to charge.
Step 2 - Once armed with the size, I chose the Oura Ring 4, it came in a nice apple like box with the ring in the centre of a stand which is also the charging stand. It has a nice solid and premium feel to it. Don't forget to lift the tray for the USB C charging cable and paper user guide. I used Seeing AI to read the text, which basically said download the Oura Ring app.
Step 3 - The app is somewhat accessible, you may have to turn on screen recognition to register and follow the instruction to pair the ring. Resist putting it on till you've paired the app. The app will tell you when to put on the ring. Once you've finished registering, the ring will start to send data to the app. Most of the buttons are labelled with a few buttons unlabelled, but they don't seem to be material to the use. It does auto detect activity and it's super easy to add. The app integrates with apple's Health app. It will build a picture of your health as it gets more data.
Summary - I've used it for 5 days, the sleep tracking is very interesting as it gives breakdown of your sleep and gives you a quality score. I love the simple way it detects your activity and allows you to record it makes you want to do more exercise. It is light and comfortable when I sleep with it and not noticeable. The battery life seems to drain around 15% a day which is long enough that I don't think about it as a factor, which was what help me decide on this wearable tech vs an apple watch for health tracking. Hope this helps others take the plunge and be more active.
