Hello, I am interested in getting a home security system, and I am really interested to find out which provider makes the most accessible apps. The company I am considering is Xfinity, and I am eager to gather as much information as I can about the accessibility of there apps. So, if you have Xfinity home, and or if you know anyone who does, can you please post in regards to the accessibility. If you don't have Xfinity, but you do have a home security system, and the apps of that provider seem to have decently accessible apps to control the components of the system, please inform me of that as well. Thanks in advance, and I hope to get a response very soon. Regards

Hi, While I can't speak to Xfinity's app and its accessibility I can report that both the web portal and app for IOS devices for ADT's pulse system which allows you to control not only alarm system functions but also things like z wave capable devices such as thermostats indoor and outdoor light controllers along with cameras are both quite usable. The only mild glitch is an incessant sounder such as that one hears when pressing the home button sounds every 3 seconds but if you flip the mute switch while in the app that goes away and it's easier to hear Voiceover verbalize the on screen info. ADT is aware of this issue and are working on a fix. Nearly all elements are labeled properly and even those which aren't are easy to discern by clicking and exploring the areas they open up. I hope that helps.
Thank you for that information, I have through further research decided to go with a local company, and they work with alarm.com for smart phone integration, so now I am on a quest to find out as much as I can about the accessibility of alarm.com apps and web portals.
