I am trying to figure out an issue for a coworker. Their Hey Siri has stopped functioning. They are running iOS11.3.1. So far we have tried rebooting the device as well as turning the feature off and back on, which required a re-training for Hey Siri. Any other suggestions of why the feature has stopped working. I personally don't use it and admit I'm a bit at a loss myself, but I'm sure others here do. Here's to hoping someone has a tip or trick my team and I have not yet though of.
Thanks.

Questions
Is Siri working correctly otherwise?
In the settings is listen for hey Siri, on?
Is allow Siri when locked turned on?
Is the device being placed face-down?
power?
Does the device need to be plugged into power for hey siri to work or did they change that?
Anyway you might try plugging it in.
Good point
I assumed it worked previously, but this does bring up a good question: is the device one that requires being plugged in for ‘hey Siri’ to work? I think iPhone 6 or later do not require AC power for ‘hey Siri’ to work. what device do they have?
Hey Siri
If I ever have kids, I am determined to name one of them Siri just to screw with iPhones. :) Sorry. Couldn't resist.

Thanks to all who have chimed in here. I will ask some of the questions on Monday when I get back to the office. As for the issue of the phone requiring power... good thought, but I doubt it, given they said they previously used it while outdoors and it has randomly stopped working. I do know the feature is turned on. In fact, one of my coworkers tried turning it off and back on again to see if that might fix it. I do not know what device it is, but given the feature worked before, I am assuming it has to be an iPhone 6s or better, as I think the 6S is the first one that lets you use hey Siri without requiring the device to be plugged in.
Siri
She works without having to be plug. Also she will not work if there is no WIFI.
