This is a great find! I prefer learning from documentation rather than podcasts. Though the Applevis podcasts are great, for me, I often have questions a podcast doesn't answer.
And some documentation online isn't much better. They have a firm grasp in the obvious: "go to settings to change your preferences" or "press the add item button to add a new item".
I was a little confused about how to truly utilize the reminders app. I created a grocery list, but when I used SIRI, it added groceries to another list. Nowhere could I find clear, detailed documentation that explained exactly how the multiple lists worked, and how, exactly reminders integrated with the notification center and the calendar app.
But then I ran across this ultimate guide:

A terrific site. However, I should add that it was for IOS 7 but it appears that the instructions would be the same under IOS8.

Thanks, Deborah, for this information. Understanding all about how the shared services apps use is a point of frustration with me right now. I'm going right over there and book mark that site and have a look around.
You also prompted me to check out books on BookShare, specifically from a series of books I like to read called the Missing Manual series. I wonder if they have a book on IOS for 8.0. I'll report back what I find out.
