I shall begin with saying I don't have a computer.
I saw a feature somewhere that let me create slideshows in the native photos app and I don't remember where it is. Where is it?

First you need to select a few photos, then double-tap share. Swipe through the share menu until you find slideshow. Hope that helps.

Click on a photo, then the share button, and swipe until you see a button that says slideshow. Then double-tap it. And u will be good to go.

Resurrecting this topic for a very good reason: the help given in it no longer seems to be current. if you select a bunch of photos, you can still create a slideshow. Click on the 'more' button and the slideshow option is there. However, there seems to be no way of saving your created slideshow. If you go down the route recommended in this topic i.e. selecting a bunch of photos and using the 'share' button, there does not seem to be a 'create slideshow' option anymore. Or is it just me?

I did ask Google Gemini what he thought about this. he told me there's no way of creating and then saving a slideshow in the photos app but that if I played the slideshow and then paused it while it was playing I would be able to use the 'share' button to save it as a video. alas, no luck there either.

all of the above segways into these two questions: am i doing something wrong and is there a way of creating, and then saving, your slideshow using the photos app? If there isn't, does anyone have an alternative solution through, say, another app? I did want to share a bunch of photos as a slideshow yesterday - incredibly frustrating that I could not do so. Plus it seems a great way to get something like PiccyBot to describe a sequence of photos using the video description mode.
