I have a problem since updating my netflicks. When I watch an episode, as soon as it finishes it would go to the other one sometimes without me realizing it. Then I would have to stop it rewind it and get out of the show before it starts playing. Before it never did that when I finished watched an episode I would then unlock the screen and either come out of the app or wait if I want to watch a continuation of the show. Can someone help and thanks in advance.

I tried to find the account setting to disable auto play next episode within the Netflix app and could not. I did see several websites saying that in order to make this change you must use a web browser and go to Netflix.com. I did this using Safari on an ipad and found I had to turn off Voiceover in order to get into my account settings. Once in Voiceover worked but oddly I had to turn it off to get there. Hopefully I'm wrong about that. Anyway at the home page of Netflix you tap your user name which, on iPad, is to the right and near the top. Then tap account, in account you'll find a section called my profile, it's the last section, and that's where playback settings are.

Thanks will have to try that. I did go in to settings and playback but it wasn't showing me anything helpful other than if to use wy fy or data.

I had the WiFi or data settings in the app too but nothing for playback preferences.

This account that I have is one of my uncle so I'm having some trouble with it I will have to ask him to try and fix it on his end. You would think that in the app it self there would be something to turn that off. I hope I could find another way.

Remember to request the desktop site by going to Format options. Now you don't need to turn off VoiceOver to go into your account settings. However, You will need to double tap and hold your name To expand those settings. Good luck. I have no PC, so I always need to change settings on my iPhone.

I even tried to do it on my pc and having no luck really. I went in to settings in the app and tapped on account and it said looking for account to go to the website. You would think it would take you there but no. When I put a show to play I lock the screen then press the button on my headphone and it would start playing.

So I found another update for netflicks again when I refreshed my screen today. But it came out 2 days ago. I just watched a show and the problem stopped. It didn't autoplay the next episode which I was glad for. I think when the app updates things probably changes on its own but thanks for the suggestions.

So glad it's fixed!

Its fixed and I kind of take it back because I was watching 1 show and it didn't autoplay and I watched another one and it did but I found a work around for it in the mean time. So where it shows to track the percentage of the episode I move it to 0% and if I don't want to watch it I close it out. This is only a temporary fix for now. I still have to kind of pay attention. Lol. Sometimes when you're in to a show and not even noticing that its moved to another episode.
