Hello I would like to ask about the files app on ios 11 could any one tell me how to save files directly to the ipod touch strate from the internet thanks
As far as I can tell, this still isn't directly possible with the files app. Basically, you still need a file manager, something like Goodreader or Documents5 or something. There are a lot of them.
For some reason, Apple doesn't let you save directly into the on my ipad/iphone/ipod section.

Thanks for clarifying this for me I just wasn’t sure if it was me doing something wrong or just the files app its self
