I use duolingo all the time. Your list of lessons you can choose from starts after you swipe from the hearts tab. Just go down the list, the first will be intro. After you tap that you'll see a details screen. . On that screen dubble tap where it says start with an xp number next to it. Hope this helps
What are there when I click on a category and it says for example level 2 of five? This does not seem to be an over all level because they are different.
