Help, complete phone number of a contact not visible when large text setting is enabled

Hi. I searched for the answer to this question, but haven't found any, so I though I'd ask here. Using my iPhone's built in phone app, I can navigate to my Contacts, and select one. When I do, I see their phone number listed as (504)333-...

This is because I have low vision, and in accessability settings I have enabled larger text, so that it's readable. The trouble is that I've had people ask me for a phone number, I look it up, and don't know how to view the overflowed, hidden part of the phone number.

Does anyone know how to view it? A "hack" fix, I suppose is to go into edit mode, tap the phone number, and then read the other half of the phone number, but there's got to be a better way.

Any help would be much appreciated.

you can ask siri to read a specific phone number to you. For example, what is Mike's mobile number or what is my wife's work number.

if you want to read it for yourself, try turning the phone to the landscape position. That stretches the numbers out.

My screen says in portrait for the Phone app, when I position the phone in landscape. If you can put contacts in landscape view, I'm not sure how to do that. Landscape mode works fine in supported apps.

I used the Phone app as an example, but there are many other places where this problem occurs. (Settings, for instance.) I can always turn the large text off, and use a three-finger tap to zoom into the settings, but that seems like a hack, and not a nice solution. If there were some way to tilt the phone to read the text, that would be cool.

Thanks for the suggestions, though I'd still be interested to see fi there are any solutions Apple offers for this, or if they plan to implement a solution to the original problem.

If you access your contacts through the contact app and not the contacts through the phone app, landscape mode works. So for instance if you are on a speaker call and need to give someone a number, click the home button and select the contacts app and turn the phone to landscape.
