I can’t figure out how to edit the medication schedule on my iPhone.

I looked at the Help topic on the Apple website but the info is incorrect. It is not what I see on my screen.

Please help.

It would’ve been helpful if you’d shared a link to exactly what documentation you read, but I’ll do my best.

On the medications screen of the Health app (Browse > Medications) go down to the “Your Medications” heading, double tap the medication to edit the schedule for (or add a new medication), then you can find the “Edit” button under the “Schedule” heading.

Note that the medications list in the medical ID feature is a separate list and has nothing to do with the medication scheduling feature.

To edit a medication schedule in the Health app on an iPhone, you can:
Open the Health app

Tap Browse at the bottom right

Tap Medications

Scroll down to Your Medications

Tap the medication you want to edit

Scroll down to Schedule

Tap Edit

Tap a field to change it

So, apparently you didn’t hear me when I said that the help page didn’t help me, as it did not match my screen. I don’t need you, therefore, to just copy the help file, thank you.

What I did in fact fail to mention is that I have not yet upgraded from the latest iOS 17 to 18 as I have heard many horrific things about it accessibility-wise and I also have an older phone, so I wouldn’t benefit from any of the AI.

that said, how do you do this in 17 (this time not just copying the help text)?

I didn’t copy anything. I described the steps after verifying what they were. Either be specific about the differences you see or figure it out yourself. I figured it out myself when the feature was first introduced, without needing to reference a help document, so I’m sure you could as well if the instructions you got didn’t match what you encountered.

Ask Siri and it will add it to your reminder

With respect and kindness, is time to update your phone. When I was using 13 pro no issues with iOS 18.1 and now with 16 pro max same. No issues.
