Just a bit of a heads up regarding a problem with the latest version of Chrome I've encountered for those of you who like using it on IOS. It seems to be continually refreshing as you navigate through pages therefore making it impossible to use successfully at the moment.
Kind regards everyone.

DarnIt! I updated Chrome earlier today but hadn’t opened it until seeing this post.

Chrome was my browser of choice on iOS. But, as reported above, it’s now unusable with VoiceOver.

Here’s hoping that some will see this post before updating.

Did I say “DarnIt” already?

Yes, hopefully some will stumble on the post before updating, that was my intention of course. At least you've got Firefox and Safari to fall back on. If people have a lot of bookmarks saved in Chrome, this will be very irritating, and as It's your primary browser, you probably fall into that category.
Hopefully a fix is forthcoming shortly.

I already let the google access team know about this. I've seen this in other apps so am thinking it might be a voiceover issue. I'm surprised no one testing the beta public or dev, reported this to the apple team using the feedback form, or not enough of us did anyway.

Cheers KE7ZUM. Your probably correct, as there remains an issue with VO forgetting the last URL when going back a page in Firefox and Safari. Maybe they are tangentially connected, maybe not, I've no idea, this seems a more serious problem, and may have something to do with the new rendering engine introduced in the update.
At least someone has notified the Google access team anyhow.

I just heard back from the google team. They just passed my feedback along with a link to this thread to their team. Now we wait. That was actually very fast.

Maybe we should just stick with
Firefox web browser
. It's set up the exact same as Safari and is very accessible to VoiceOver. It takes only about 5 seconds to load a web page, sometimes only 3! Yikes! Watch out, this browser is charging right for you if you're not careful! Because it does so many cool things, like how fast it goes, I would recommend it.

But wait, that's not all! More features!:
* Saves your passwords. I went to AppleVis on Firefox and I was surprised to find it had logged me out, but wait! When I went to the Login page, my username and password were there, so all I had to do was hit Login.
* Adds more edit options in Rotor to VO.
More features can be found in the description by typing in "firefox web browser" in the App Store.

The team is aware of the issue and is already working on a solution.
