I just installed Dark Sky on my iPad Mini with Voiceover. How do I receive alerts advising me about rain startine in my area? Allso, how do I have the forecast show up in Notifications? Per the Apple Vis podcast #628, both of these alerts were possible with IOS 8. Are they possible with IOS 9?

Hello Bruce,

Make sure that you have the Location Services, Notifications, and Background App Refresh is all to set ON. Not certain if one of those could be the issue that you are having.

The easiest way to find out is go to your Settings -> Dark Sky and tap on each of those item mention above to see if those are set to ON.

Hi.
What I do is use the rotor to get to navigate by words. Then I find the alert me before part in the dark sky settings on page 2. Use a single finger flick down to find the words any rain and do a double tap on that, then it will bring you to a picker to navigate to your different choices.
