I enjoy some bbc radio4. I mostly got it for add free bbc The Archers. The app is extremely accessible on iOS with voice over! You may be able to use a vpn in Canada if there are restrictions. Hope this helps.
Good day, I have used the BBC Sounds app regularly and it works fabulously great with VoiceOver. And you can subscribe directly through the app to the podcast section of the BBC.
