hi. I have the latest version of IOS which is IOS 10.02 and I've encountered a major bug regarding the screen curtain. I had this confirmed by a few sighted users, they said that when I activated the screen curtain half of the screen was still visible. When I turn it off the whole screen is visible again but when it's on it seems that it doesn't cover the whole screen. has anyone encountered this issue?

The screen curtain is working fine here on an iPhone 6s running iOS 10.0.2.
My guess is that you experienced a temporary glitch which would be resolved by restarting your device.

I have no problem too. Screen curtain behave normaly, on iPhone 7 iOS 10.0.2.
Screen Curtain
Encountered the glitch once on my iPhone 6S WITH Ios 10.0.2 installed. My son noticed it so I turned the iPhone off and on to resolve the problem and have had no further issues since.

for me turning my iphone 6 plus on and off didn't work, I had to do a hard reset using both the power and home buttons and that fixed the problem. I consider this a major bug because we don't know when it might appear out of nowhere depriving us of privacy. I like to keep the screen curtain on all the time because I use to text a lot and I don't want others to see my messages. I will report this to apple.

There's no problem here, that screen curtain works on my end.
Not under iOS 10
I have not had any screen curtain issues under iOS 10 on my iPad Mini 4. I did, however, have an issue with the screen curtain not working at all under iOS 8 on an iPad Air. It happened twice to my recollection, and both times a reboot fixed the issue.
