Good Saturday afternoon to everyone. I am using thenative e-mail program that comes with IOS 10.2.1. This isn't really a big deal, but how do you ensure that when you open the e-mail program, that you go directly to your in-box and not to the trash folder? I will say that it does work correctly at times, but I find that most of the time, when opening the e-mail program, I end up in the trash folder. Is there any way to make sure that I always end up in the in-box when I launch the native e-mail program? Thanks in advance for your help, and have a good day and a good weekend. Dennis Hoffmann

It should bring you to the
It should bring you to the same mailbox you left off at when you last used the app. For example, if you're in the inbox and you go to the home screen, it should bring you back to the inbox when you next launch the app.

try this with email
Hello!
Ok I use the same app that you do. Here's what I've found.
I don't leave my email open & running in the background. But say when you close the mail app, you were in the trash folder for example. When you open mail, it stays on the last folder you selected & were in before you closed the afp. I know this because often when I'm done checking & cleaning out my inbox, I'll go to my junkmail folder to see if that needs spruced up also. Well, the next time I open the app, it's in the junkmail folder because that's where I left it. This will happen regardless of what folder you're in whether it be trash or spam. What I'd recommend for you to try, is when you're done with the management of your inbox, go back in to your inbox then close your mail app. And when you open it next, it should be in your inbox automatically! Problem solved!
Good luck & hope I was able to help you!

I just scrub back and go to my main set of folders. Then click the inbox. I don't really care where I end up as that trick works all the time here and has for the 7 years I've used IOS.
