Hello all:
today, i tried the Gmail app on ios, and i noticed that it is more organized, faster and may be simpler.
so, need to ask what is your mail default app on ios? and why?
and if you will use gmail, how can i stop 1 account notifications? because i have more than 1 account, and i need to get email notifications f for just 1 primary account.
any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi! I have always used the native Mail app and I like it. However I’m interested in learning more about the Gmail app.

The native iOS mail app is where it's at for me, but it seems I'm having an issue adding my other email account. I've used Mac Mail for that one ever since I first became a Mac user. But it seems Mac Mail has some issues now, and has become a bit clunky. I've never used the gmail app though.

for me, it's gmail. the app is accessible and simple to use on iOS. My favorite feature is Gemini. the ability to summarize your email makes it much easier. You can also do this too in the native mail app on macOS thanks to Apple Intelligence.

but as an Iphone 13 pro max user, will i get Apple Intelegence?

I use native Mail app on iPhone and Mac because I find it more easier and comfortable to use. I have also tried Gmail app but I didn’t like it very much.

The reason why i tried the gmail app is that i got many important emails in my junk folder in apple native mail app, and moving them back to inbox, did not solve the issue,
but when i do this in side the gmail app, and i told him this is not a spam,
problem fixed

As email summarization in the Mail app is an Apple Intelligence feature, and Apple Intelligence requires an iPhone 15 Pro or later, the iPhone 13 Pro Max will not have this capability.

Gmail feels a bit clunky in comparison to the iOS mail app, at least when I used it.

I've always used the default mail app. Since I have multiple email addresses from different services other than Gmail, it makes it easy to have it all in one spot.

Different strokes for different folks. Try both options and see what works best for you.

Gmail's interface differs slightly, with a top navigation menu for accessing folders instead of constant folder navigation. Everyone will have their preference.

Personally, I find Gmail's spam management quicker since everything's in one place. Adding accounts to the Gmail app "gmailifies" them, treating all accounts similarly. This takes some getting used to.

One feature I struggle with is Gmail's threading system, but that's just me.

Ultimately, try both and switch back if needed. You can't go wrong.

Thanks for this gmail ideas.
however, if i have more than 1 gmail account on my gmail app, can i set it to get notifications from just 1 account? or i should get notifications from all of them?

This is how per account notification in IOS Gmail app can be customized:
1. Open Gmail app.
2. Navigate to Accounts and Settings and open it.
3. Switch to the account you want to customize notification for.
4. Now open the Navigation menu, the first option.
5. Go all the way down to settings.

There you find it, the option to customize notification for that specific account under the Notifications heading.
