Getting Notifications in the iOS 13 Find My App

Greetings.

In previous versions of iOS, I used the Find My Friends app to set a notification to tell me when my wife leaves a location and is coming to pick me up from work. I did this daily, since I never quite figured out a way to set a recurring notification.

In iOS 13, the new Find My app has no notification button to do this. Or at least none I can find. Is there a new method to set a notification to be alerted to when a friend leaves or arrives at a certain location?

And, if I can go further, is there a way I can set that notification to be sticky?

If you double-tap on your wife's name, a screen should be revealed that shows more information about her current location and some other options. One of these will be a button to add a notification.

It's possible that depending upon the size of your phone's screen, you may need to use ‘Expand’ from the Actions menu when on the ‘Card Controller’ UI element to access all of what's available on this screen.

Thank you. I got a little closer. I did the expand thing, and found a notifications button. I set it, but it did not alert me. I also saw something that appears to make this sticky. It almost seems like this might work better if my wife sets an alert to send me a note every time she leaves work, automatically. We will play with it over the weekend. dp

Yes, that will be the best way to do it if you'd like the notification to stick every time it happens. She will need to add a notification to notify you and then change it to "Every Time" for how many times to be notified, rather than "Only Once."

The only choice for length is just once. Checkmark does not go away when clicked. I want each one to be unlimited/forever etc. Is there a way
